It depends on your needs. Shopify is excellent for most merchants — huge app ecosystem, great mobile checkout, fast to launch. ECPlus is the right call when you need deep customisation, complex workflows, tight Xero/TradeMe integration, or full source-code control without per-feature vendor lock-in. We recommend honestly after understanding your business — and we genuinely don't mind which one you pick.
Yes. We migrate from Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, and custom-built stores — onto Shopify or onto ECPlus. We move products, variants, customers, order history, and SEO redirects, with testing on staging before anything goes live.
Yes — Shopify POS rollout or our own ECPlus POS. That includes hardware selection, installation, inventory sync between online and in-store, staff training, and go-live support. We integrate POS only with our own platform or with Shopify, so everything stays in one stack.
A straightforward Shopify build is usually 2–4 weeks. ECPlus builds or Shopify projects with custom theme development, migrations, or POS rollout typically run 4–10 weeks. We give you a real timeline with milestones in the quote — no vague "it depends".
Absolutely — most of our clients are Chinese-owned NZ businesses. We build storefronts and admin panels in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Our team is bilingual, so project communication happens in whichever language is easier for you.
